Our attorneys have extensive experience in representing secured and unsecured creditors and lenders in a variety of financial transactions from loan origination to workouts of problem loans and repossession of collateral. We assist our lender clients in negotiating and preparing loan documents, letters of credit, and other financing arrangements, reviewing appropriate due diligence materials, and negotiating asset-based and other sources of lender security. In the context of problem loans, our services are as flexible as loan relationships are varied – we assist lenders in complex foreclosures and replevin actions, negotiations with debtors, deed-in-lieu transactions, forbearance agreements, representation in bankruptcies, and all other types of loan workouts. With respect to owned real estate, we work extensively with lenders and creditors in negotiating purchase contracts, resolving title issues, environmental matters, land use issues, and other property ownership and sale issues, and assisting and advising lenders with respect to the sale and closing process.
