Charity A. McCarthy joined the firm in 2016 and specializes in estate planning, trusts, and probate, along with business guidance and representation. Charity enjoys working with individuals and business owners with simple to complex estate planning and business succession planning matters. She has over 20 years of experience in these areas. Charity has been listed in The Best Lawyers of America® for Trust and Estates for six years in a row, she was named a Wisconsin Super Lawyer in 2023 and she was previously selected by In Business magazine as one its “40 under 40”. Charity is involved in several professional groups, including Madison Estate Council, Forum of Women Estate Counselors, the Dane County Bar Association, and the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Monica A. Wedgewood has 10 years of legal experience and has been with Stroud, Willink & Howard since 2019. Her practice areas include divorce and family law, as well as commercial and business litigation. Monica’s clients appreciate her ability to navigate challenging family situations and achieve the best possible outcomes. Monica has been recognized professionally numerous times over the course of her career, including in 2024, when she was listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for “Ones to Watch” in Commercial Litigation and Family Law. Monica provides pro bono representation to the Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS) in Madison and is a member of the Dane County Bar Association.

John P. Driscoll is a native resident of Wisconsin, where he attended the University of Wisconsin and earned both his undergraduate and his law degree. John specializes in financial matters and debt settlement, with extensive experience in consumer bankruptcies, small business reorganizations, and tax resolutions. John’s practice extends to business dissolutions, foreclosure, and civil litigation. He has a deep understanding of the legal complexities and focuses on finding solutions to the client’s goals and circumstances. John is involved in the Legal Action of Wisconsin’s Pro Bono Bankruptcy Clinic and is a member of the Dane County Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the Western District of Wisconsin Bankruptcy Bar.
